Class Details


Join a class (campus or online) to learn how to create your own iPhone Games.

This class theme is "Sling Shot" games. Learn how to create Sling Shot style games like angry birds but of course add your own flavor, personality, and thumbprint by learning how to design custom characters, enemies, and other game elements.


Game for : iPhone 4, iPhone3GS, iPod Touch and iPad 1,2, 3.


Learn how to use Adobe Flash  & Gimp to create your own characters

Learn how to use Autodesk Maya for creating 3D elements

At the end of class have a custom sling shot style game create by you!



- Ideal For : Pure Beginners who are interested in making their own custom apps for iPhone,  iPod Touch, and iPad. No previous software or programming knowledge required. Coding will be discussed but NOT a major topic of the course.


Software covered in class:

Adobe Flash, Gimp, Autodesk Maya, Xcode 4, Cocos 2D for iPhone, Box2D



Instructor Info:

Taught by Jessica Henley, founder of Henley's Haven Workshops and founder / Head of School of  accredited school Creative Career Academy K - 12 grades.  Creative Career Academy K - 12 was voted Best of 2012 Atlanta Art Schools by Kudzu.com. Jessica has a Associate degree in computer science, Bachelors degree in Media Arts and Animation, and Master degree in Organizational Leadership in Education.
